I Try Writing A Lot

I try writing fantasy/fiction all the time. I don't consider myself good at it, really. A good storyist, yes, but a being a good writer takes more than knowing how to say exactly what you want to say. I dont have the patience or attention span for real writing. Sometimes, though. I get ideas and I think "fuck that'd be cool t'were it a book" Mostly if I can't read it, I want to write it. Here are some of my current obsessions.

• Merlin: the big one, a fascinating character that I think of as the epitome of humanity in a magical world
• The merger of magic and technology: I see no reason that they couldn't get along perfectly well
• Individualism and Humanism: I don't think you can ever pick a more noble protagonist than a human individual.
• Swords: swords are the badassest weapon, bar none
